I keep seeing memes with this rancid bitch’s picture that read:
“This woman called a child the N-word and raised $600k.
Now tell me that this doesn’t prove that racism is alive and well in America!”
Okay then…this doesn’t prove that racism ‘alive and well’ in America.
I think I’ve made my thoughts about this kind of thing clear over the years, but for the new people….
First, let me say that it’s entirely vile that this woman raised life changing money for such heinous behavior.
It’s an indictment of everyone that gave her money, and everyone that’s glad she received money.
They’re Neanderthals.
Full stop.
Here comes the unpopular part.
NO, this isn’t an example of how racism is “alive and well” in America.
It’s an example that *some* people are still complete racist shitbirds and always will be.
Let’s look at numbers….
There are 340,000,000 people in America.
She raised $600,000 according to the meme.
That means if every person who gave her money, only gave her $1, 0.17% of the population loved the fact that she called an autistic child the N-Word.
If they each gave her $2, that percentage is now divided in half.
But, I think we know that each person mostly likely gave her more than one or two dollars, so now the percentage drops even more.
SO, this – while repugnant – quickly starts to become a very negligible number of the populace, is not representative of the majority of white Americans, and certainly doesn’t prove that racism is ‘alive and well’ in ‘White America’ or whatever.
We need to stop falling for, and sharing, ‘Rage Bait’.
We need to stop thinking in ‘Rage Bait’.
And we need to stop engaging conversations based on ‘Rage Bait’.
This skank is vile.
Her child will grow to be vile.
The people who gave her money for being what she is, are vile.
The people who think it’s funny/great/deserved that other people gave her money are vile.
But they’re a dying breed.
They’re derelict relics of a bygone era, raging against the dying of the light, and they most likely don’t have the common sense to not wear white leather New Balance sneakers to semi-formal events…or hell, wear white leather New Balance sneakers at all.
